What I do
What does Fanni Csincsák do?
I'm an AI product manager. I take AI from a proposal to something that ships, gets used, and survives a governance review — mostly in fintech, SaaS, and regulated enterprise. Right now I lead AI and workflow product at T-Systems International, a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary, and I also direct a business analyst practice there.
What kind of AI work, specifically?
Applied AI inside real workflows rather than model research. That means deciding which AI use cases are worth building, classifying their risk at intake, designing the human oversight around them, shipping them into products people already use, and instrumenting them so you can tell when quality drifts. I've also built an AI governance framework for an enterprise ITSM portfolio, with DORA risk assessment at the intake gate.
How much experience do you have?
Twelve years in product. Product management since 2020, and AI product work since 2020 as well — starting with an AI legal-tech product at AltaML, well before the current wave. Before that, product and design roles across fintech and SaaS.
What have you actually shipped?
Public examples: a fintech platform that reached 24,000 users within six months of launch, and an AI legal-tech product where twenty-plus user interviews killed the app we were about to build and turned it into a browser extension instead — it shipped and anchored over a million dollars in follow-on funding. At T-Systems the work is AI triage and classification across an enterprise ITSM portfolio, an AI change assistant, and the governance framework around them; those case studies are password-protected but I'm happy to share access.
What are you actually good at?
Taking a brief that's wrong and finding out what the real problem is before anyone builds the wrong thing — then bringing evidence rather than an opinion. In practice that's discovery, scoping against usage data, requirements that engineers can act on, and the stakeholder work that makes a difficult scope change survive a steering committee.
Working together
Do you work remotely?
Yes. I'm based in Budapest, EU work-eligible, and I work remotely across Europe and the UK. My hours overlap London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich and Copenhagen comfortably.
Would you relocate?
For the right role, yes. Remote is my default and works well, but I'd consider relocating within Europe or the UK if the role and package justify the move.
Permanent or contract?
Both. I've worked as an employee, as an independent consultant through my own practice, and on retained part-time engagements. What matters more than the contract type is whether the role has real product ownership attached to it.
Are you available right now?
I'm currently at T-Systems International. I'm always open to a conversation about interesting product work — the fastest way is email or LinkedIn.
What kind of roles fit?
Lead, senior, or principal product manager roles where AI is central rather than decorative — AI product manager, product manager for an AI platform, or a product lead role in a company that has something to lose if the AI is wrong. Fintech, SaaS, legaltech, insurtech, healthtech and large regulated enterprise all fit.
What doesn't fit?
Pure design execution roles, frontier model research, and roles that are product management in title only. I'm also not the right person if the expectation is to deliver a fixed brief without questioning it.
Practical
What languages do you speak?
English and Hungarian, both fluent. A little German.
What tools do you work in?
ServiceNow (including NowAssist and Predictive Intelligence), Jira and Confluence, Figma, and product analytics in PostHog, Amplitude and GA4. Scrum, Kanban, and BDD with Three Amigos for requirements.
Do you know the EU AI Act and DORA?
Yes, from applying them rather than reading about them. I've built an AI use-case register with risk classification at intake inside a regulated enterprise, and worked within DORA's boundaries on third-party AI. I write about both — there's a glossary of the terms and several articles on this site.
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes. There are six case studies on the work page. One is fully open; the rest are password-protected at the client's request, and I'm happy to share access on request. The blog and glossary show how I think about the problems rather than just the outcomes.
